
How many times have you tried to lose that 20, 30 or 40 pounds now? The frustration that comes along with repeated failures is sometimes what can hold us back from trying again. You have tried every single diet plan that your friends, co-workers and family talk about. They always have a story about how successful someone was on that diet plan so you think, “why not try it? I have tried everything else.” You do really well at the beginning. You are motivated and excited about losing the first 10 pounds….and you do. Now you may even try to eat less than the plan calls for in order to lose it a little quicker….and you do for about 5 more pounds, maybe 10 pounds. By this time you are starting to become tired of the special eating plan, you start to sneak in some foods not on the plan, you begin eating some of the foods that you normally would eat and before you know it, that 10 to 20 pounds is back on and you feel guilty, you feel like a failure and you believe you are such a loser.
