The following story is from a woman that attended an EFT workshop for weight loss that I held in January of 2019. This group of women committed to meeting weekly for 90 minutes for 4 weeks to discuss and tap through their struggles they experienced with their weight loss attempts. This is one of many success stories from that workshop……………..
“I started drinking more than usual a particular brand of diet soda when I went back to school at age 42. It was easy to grab and take with, the schools always had it available and I could always get one at any convenience store. In addition, I loved the taste. As of last month, I was up to a case of that diet soda a week, not counting the ones I’d get at fast food drive thru’s.
When I started the EFT workshop for weight loss, I began to realize I needed to make changes. However, I didn’t think I’d be able to, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to! I really felt I had an addiction to that diet soda. I couldn’t imagine my days without my ever present diet soda at my side.
I made a conscious effort to change that habit. It isn’t easy, but Jan taught me how to tap on my craving. She also made me aware through our group how to work on the reasons why I want it. After reading a study on how 2 or more diet sodas a day could possibly have an effect on my health, I made the decision to focus on cutting back.
Currently, I have now cut down to one in the morning and one in the evening. I am slowly working to eliminate the evening one and have been successful on a few nights. I will say I feel so much better and a friend mentioned that I looked different….BETTER!
I believe the bloating is going away. I drink a lot of water now and an afternoon citrus sparkling water is my treat. It’s a battle, but one I am determined to conquer with the continued practice of EFT.”
